Lions Club Fundraising
Our annual fundraisers include Candy Day in early October, Candy Day is the premiere fundraiser for the services & programs provided to the hearing & visually impaired in Illinois. This event alone raises over 50% of the total operating funds for the Lions of Illinois Foundation. Through these donations to Lions of Illinois Foundation & The Elmhurst Lions are able to serve in excess of 18,000 men, women, & children each year.
Pizza Party
For more than 35 years, our annual Pizza Party, typically held in late February or early March is a widely attended family event. Not only is it a favorite in the area, but a chance for the community, past and present, to reconnect to their Elmhurst roots for an evening of fun and fellowship. | Reverse Raffle
Our Reverse Raffle held at the end of summer utilizes the proceeds to benefit a variety of local community charities. | Pumpkin Patch & Family Fest
Fall brings Halloween, our Leo Club Family Fest on Sunday October 27th, and Pumpkin Patch at the Wild Meadows Trace Park (York St. at the Prairie Path) in October. Pumpkin delivery is on Monday, Columbus Day - we are always happy to have so many of our Leos available to help unload 10 tons of pumpkins!!!! |
